Delicate Arch

So I am in the process of moving. From California to Illinois. My special dude whom is pictured here, , accompanied me on the long drive across the USA. Along the way we stopped at Arches National Park, Utah. We wanted to see this particular arch, the "famous one" if you will. It is a bit of a long and fun story how we came across it.

We didn't know what it was called. We even asked some people who had the arch pictured on their license plate what it was, but they rented the car so they didn't quite know either. Then we figured out it was right on our brochure all along. Durp. So we find a 0.5mile hike to see it, but...it was far away and kind of pointless to photograph it from that viewing point. Then we see there is a 1.1 mile hike to get close to it. Okay, piece of cake. The hike ended up being all uphill, with no shade, and 95 degree high elevation desert sun. Fun fun. But way worth it. This arch is gorgeous.
